Possible Rent Rises
Rents will rise by 7 to 8 per cent for the next two years. So says property analyst with the investment research firm Van Eyk, Louis Christopher. He said that rental yields on investment property were recovering. "I think rents will rise by 7 to 8 per cent for the next two years, but investors don't buy a residential property just for the yield.
